Meh, a bit nihilistic for my tastes. Congress may suck (looking at you specifically Mitch), but I like to think we don’t need to be resigned to that always being the case.

Thanks, I chuckled.
But also these jokes rub me the wrong way - it’s pointing to our own failure as a society at obtaining for ourselves competent and responsible leadership (congress isn’t just some being that happens to exist out there that we have no part in driving) .
I’m in do self-deprecating humor, guess I’m just a bit too on edge today.
